The location is amazing, just a few minutes' drive away from cool places to eat. Plus, getting to the train station is super easy, also just a short drive from here. 🚆.

everything was nice, nonetheless we stayed for 3 nights only. the staff was superfriendly, always on hand when needed. had a tidy room with all the facilities, a dining table plus couches, felt very welcome throughout our stay.

This place is comfy, the staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the location was stunning right by the sea 🌊. Overall, it was a cozy stay that met all our needs.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, nice bathroom and ironing facilities, a work desk, and TV with DVD player in the room. Terrace view from the window was pleasant!

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious in a quaint room with modern amenities like a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, and bathrobes.

I had a fantastic experience and would happily go back again. the hotel was ideal. the room was new-fashioned and I greatly enjoyed amicable staff. Got a savory breakfast included. It was in a marvelous and brilliant location close to cafés and restaurants.

A charming place with a well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for pretending to cook while barely using it. I loved the continental breakfast, especially the jam containers that may or may not be hygienic. And who needs a mat on a concrete floor in mid-winter? Genius idea.

The rooms are separate, and the breakfast is particularly nice with free on-site parking.

I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere at Near The Shore! The decorations were charming, with beautiful artwork and comfortable furnishings that made me feel right at home. The hotel's general areas were impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it easy for a senior like me to navigate around. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people, with everything conveniently located and easy to reach. It was truly a pleasure to stay in such a welcoming and senior-friendly environment.

Perhaps the only thing I would have asked for to make my vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive and proactive in their assistance. Though they were polite, I would have appreciated a little more initiative on their part.

The unit I stayed in at Near The Shore was absolutely fantastic. The room had a lovely patio where I could enjoy the stunning views and soak up the sun. The kitchenette with a dishwasher was a great addition, making it convenient for me to prepare my meals. The dining area and seating area with a flat-screen TV provided a cozy space for me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated the private bathroom which included bathrobes, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. The tea/coffee maker in the suite was a lifesaver, ensuring that I could always enjoy a hot beverage. the room was perfect for me as a solo traveler, offering all the comforts and amenities I needed for a pleasant stay.

The only thing I liked less was that not all units at Near The Shore had a balcony.

Convenient location! You can easily walk to nearby restaurants, a dairy shop, Kapiti Island for a fun day trip, the beach, and the property itself. 🏖️

Near the Shore is located right on the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the sand and surf. Guests can enjoy a picturesque walk along the shore or spend a day sunbathing and swimming. the hotel is also conveniently located near a restaurant, making it easy for families to grab a bite to eat without having to travel far.

Some guests may find the lack of on-site amenities to be a drawback.
